History of Stafford 

Historically, Staffordshire was separated into the five hundreds. The inception of the hundred dates from the division of his realm by King Alfred the Great into regions, hundreds and tithings. From the earliest starting point, Staffordshire was separated into the many Totmonslow, Pirehill, Offlow, Cuttleston and Seisdon.

Things to do in Stafford

The Shire Hall is a public structure in Stafford, England, finished in 1798 to a plan by John Harvey. Previously a town hall, it housed a craftsmanship display which shut to general society in July 2017. The courts and cells are protected. The structure, its insides, and the related road furniture were level II recorded on 17 December 1971, when it was depicted as "One of the best open structures in Stafford".
